PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER PERFORMS AT BIG ORANGE BLAST

Lites recently worked with the University of Tennessee
Athletics Department and Host Communications/The Vol
Network to host the first-ever "Big Orange Blast."
The free community-wide pep rally was held on Thursday,
Sept. 6, 2007 in Market Square.
The "Big Orange
Blast" kicked-off the 2007 UT home football season.
Festivities began at 6 p.m. with performances by Bandit’s
own Public Relations Manager, Kimberly Ainge in addition
to Waycross and Jason D. Williams. Tennessee Head
Football Coach, Phillip Fulmer and select members
of the Tennessee football team also participated with
the Pride of the Southland Marching Band, UT cheerleaders
and Smokey.
The bands that participated in the event all have
special ties to Tennessee. Kimberly Ainge is the older
sister of Tennessee quarterback Erik Ainge. Waycross
recently released a song entitled "Nineteen,"
which features lyrics about playing football at Tennessee.
Jason D. Williams is a native of Memphis, Tennessee,
known for his dynamic high-energy piano playing, classic
vocal style and unparalleled showmanship.
Kimberly Ainge relocated
to Nashville, TN from San Diego, CA in August of 2005
to pursue singing and songwriting. Ainge received
a vocal scholarship from the University of San Diego
and minored in music there. Since moving to Nashville,
Ainge has participated in numerous local songwriter
showcases. She has also sung the National Anthem for
various sporting events in the Nashville area including
Vanderbilt University basketball and baseball games.
